Privacy Policy Update

The new privacy law in Europe, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is set to take effect on May 25th. We have assessed our current rules of data protection and privacy and as a result we have updated our Privacy Policy to increase clarity and comply with GDPR legislation. These changes will take effect for existing users of our services on May 25, 2018. There is no action required on your end but we do encourage you to review the updated policies.
 

In Silico Drug Discovery

We proudly presents the Drugpredict in silico Drug Discovery system.


Drug development is an expensive process: the development of a new drug requires cca. 1 billion dollars and 10-12 years. Moreover, the success rate is dangerously low (around 10 %). The pharmaceutical companies and the government are interested in decreasing the number of drug failures in a safe way, e.g. by the application of more effective prediction systems that are able to predict the possible effects of a drug candidate. Unfortunately, revealing the complete effect profile of a drug candidate is a problem uneasy to solve.

Our company has teamed with Hungary's leading academic research teams from ELTE and SOTE to develop a new in-silico solution for biochemical effect prediction. The system - named Drugpredict - evolved in a three year period from a single homepage to a quite complex prediction system, offering millions of molecules as targets and different prediction methods. And during this year we plan to expand this database even further. We hope, that by using our prediction system drug discovery procedures can be radically shortened.

This online tool for revealing the whole effect profiles of drugs and drug candidates. DrugPredict.com uses cutting-edge systems biology, informatics and statistical approaches for effect prediction and is able to detect the potential physiological effects of a compound based on its chemical structure. Consequently, application of DrugPredict.com in the early drug development phases can reduce the costs of the drug development pipeline, e.g. by eliminating compounds with undesired potential effect profile while molecules possessing only the desired effects can be come to the front.
